Meet the Team
Founding Partner + Designerd
Trained as a "New Media" Designer (Graphic, Web, Video + Motion) at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Grew up working in a 4-Generation Family Insurance Agency from middle school through and after college – failed the California Insurance license exam 3 times.
My primary function is working directly with our clients to deliver them the best product as quickly and as simply as possible.
I love all things nerdy – comic books, youtube, movies and video games – as well as cooking for and entertaining friends.
Partner + Web Developer
Hi, my name is Ron and I'm the guy at Awesurance that takes our awesome designs and 'makes things work.' A lot of what I do is behind the scenes, but if you can click it, interact with it, resize it to fit on different screens, etc. then I probably had something to do with it.
Like any good developer, I am fascinated with technology and I am constantly learning and improving my skills. What I bring to the table that most developers don't is a background in business management & entrepreneurship.
In addition to being a computer nerd almost as far back as I can remember, I have a BS in Business Management from Sonoma State University, experience working as a Business Consultant in the restaurant industry, and I co-founded a tour bus company called North Bay Brewery Tours.
When I'm not busy building websites I like to go hiking, backpacking, traveling, playing disc golf, and I'm almost always up for a pint of craft beer.
